Hi...i need hlp on this...i am actually going for interior design...but i dunno wad programme or software is suitable/aid me to design....can anyone giv me sum suggestion?? and whr to buy it ?? thnx ^^

u cannot use photoshop to do 3d interior design.
the ancient program used in the past was AutoCAD.
now, i have no idea. -

autocad now is still very in used for engineering and technical designs. i supposed architecture included. the last time i see from some design mags, its much better than just drawing 2d diagrams.. the artist used it to render a very stunning 3d scene.Originally posted by kopiosatu:u cannot use photoshop to do 3d interior design.

its a professional modelling software.
if u think about the income that will be generated from that software (if you make it big), $2.2K is just an investment.
and besides you will be under a company if you are to do interior design. if u get audited and they find out you have pirated software, you'll be in big trouble.
an original photoshop costs $1k+ if i'm not wrong. -

so that means AutoCAD hasn't died yet eh? not bad... i had alot of fun using that during lessons. but to render a sofa in a living room would be too kang kor for me, then again i'm not earning money from autoCAD.

there is a programme but i forgot wat name.
it's used to make 3d objects and stuff..
u go yahoo and type cg, there will b a site where alot of talented ppl making cg furniture or pics with a programme. -

find one that suits your work and be good at it.
for photo editing there's photoshop, coreldraw etc etc. pick one and work on it, when u realise that program is not giving what you want, its time to move on.
