How come I cough will lose weight?

  These few days i keep coughing then now become very boney. Even my shorts which size is small, keep dropping off when i run or walk. And no matter how much i eat i cannot gain back my weight. I used to be 46kg and 161cm... and now i am 42kg... how???
  
  In what way has coughin got to do with my sudden extreme weight loss

  Ya i went doctor. They just give me medicine and stuff and ask me to eat. What food you eat can help you recover faster?
