if the item's price is lets say, $1.95 but the cashier refuses to accept the 5 cent coin, why dont we pay will 20 10cent coins instead?

But usually hawkers also dun charge food items with a 5, usually a 0...
As far as I know, for coins, there's a limit you can use per transaction, like no more than 40 5c coins per transcation -
lets see how our ch8 news would say to this issue...

dun accept, just throw $50 at the hawker, then say i treat u this plate of________, but u will waste $50, so just pay normally just bring a 5cent along everytime u go buy stuff from supermarker, like if u buy $12.85, u can spent that 5cents
