I see. Complete your JC first and make sure you do well in all subjects.Originally posted by coldzero:I'm currently 16 years old, going JC next year. I'm rather interested in psychology, and can I know the route which I should take to establish this interest of mine?
cool, where at?Originally posted by -[0]-:I see. Complete your JC first and make sure you do well in all subjects.
After that, you may choose to op for Psychology as a course in the uni of your choice. If not, you may also want to try going overseas to study as there are better Psychology courses in Australia and USA. The third option would be to study locally but with a foreign degree.
If you're planning to do a foreign degree, make sure that the Psychology course offered is accredited by a Psychological Society or Association.
Last but not least, do read up intensively. There're lots of theories in this subject and the exams are not very easy although much of it or all of it is MCQ.
I'm a Psych student myself, so I know how tough it is.![]()

Originally posted by alfagal:I'm not quite sure about the JC system cos I'm not from JC... but it doesn't really matter. Seriously. Just do well in all your subjects. Pick those you are interested in and at the same time, do some research on the requirements for the local unis here.

Not lucky man, for our exam, it's all MCQ but it's freaking tough and tricky at the same time. Last exam I've got some problems already.. in deciding which answers to shade. It's like every three of the four answers are seemingly correct..Originally posted by alfagal:IC,
NUS is rather essay based though. lucky u..
