  Not for mine .... maybe because my number got 2 0 which cause the last 4 digit to be in its hundreds.

  This is nothing lah... just playing around with numbers... If you realised, you already provided all 8 numbers of your hp number into the equation... so what is the equation does is to arrange the 8 numbers that you provided so that it displays your hp number... nothing to be amazed about....

  E.g my hp number is 9999 5555
  
  1st 4 digit = 10,000 times X
  last 4 digit = y
  
  So the handphone number on the left is 10,000X + y.
  
  Using the above "magic formula" its simply:
  
  (10000x +y) = [(80x +1)250 +2y - 250]/2
  
  You balance it out you get the same on the same side.
