Be advised, ACJC mainstream language is English.
NJCians speak a smattering of hokkien, English, Mandarin, Malay and tamil. Truly a multi-national college. I loved my time in NJC though the grades could have been better. The fellows there are nice, friendly and above all courteous. Counldn't have picked a better place to make friends.
The system on the other hand is rigid. Fail or perform poorly in any of the fields and you find yourself being forced to 'drop' core subjects in 2nd year. There is no going round this requirement.
And there is a distinctly misguided impression that ACJC students are 'better-looking'. The school does not 'create' good looks, though i admit the uniform plays its part. NJCians look more like Roswell greys then actual students.
And the only reason why the gals at ACJC are rated highly is simply because the majority come from MGS; in my year, NJC was rated as the best among the college cohorts for 'babe' factor. So those thinking along this train of thought had better keep their minds open.
All in all, choose only based on what you want in your career, but keep in mind that Polytechnics now offer a larger variety of core subjects that may fit your requirements in the new global market. -

As for NJC, it is more mugging environment , u can find fun in studying although sometime it is a bit of boring.
My friend is in CJC , she say there got pple go clubbing every frequent night....

was in nj for first three months and ac rite now. nj is much better cause the people are much friendlier and the environment is very conducive. for ac, if u are not a christian or formerly from acs(i) or barker u will find it very hard to integrate urself there.
