Im interested in chinese drama series which are closely associated with the forbidden city. eg. huang zhu gege.
I saw this series called han du dadi in the shop. is it about the forbidden city?
How about this one called the last concubine.
btw i need dvd as i need english subtitles. ac guys have this thing for chinese.
Also, books about forbidden city life. -

he was one of the greats among all other china emperor

for everyone's information, forbidden city is built during Ming Dynasty, any dynasty before it wouldnt have come close with it. if u wanna find dramas or shows that gt alot of parts filming forbidden city, i recomend a documentary about the history of forbidden city at discovery channel. somemore at Han Dynasty their capital isn't at beijing.Originally posted by aloof_guy:Is most of the flim featured in the forbidden city?
