can comforter be washed? will it get spoilt?

  If your washing machine got gentle wash, you can throw it inside.... all depends on the features and function and capacity of your washing machine.
  
  Otherwise, dry wash lah... pay a bit more only

  most probably not unless you dry clean. Most people use sheets under comforters and blankets to keep themselves/comforters clean anyway if you remember how hotels make their beds.

  like I'd said, I depends on the washer. Some more expensive ones have setting for "dry clean" type wash.... very very delicate.

  As long as its not duck down. Duck down stinks once wet, stinks even more when dried.
