Hair styling!! need help!

Everyone i need help! How do you style your hair?? I've learnt abit from my hairdresser.. but i just dun seem to get it when i do it myself. Any tips/tricks to do it right? My hair is rather flat so it's quite hard to get it to stand unless i put cream+hair spray.. But now i only have a bottle of wax.. so any suggestions?
Oh and i'm a guy so this is more for the guys

i style my hair when my hair abit wet.so that my hair wouldnt be spoiled..but my frens keep telling me to style my hair when its dry..yep

post a pic of yr head ist.so we can see e texture of yr hair n advise u accordingly

easier to spread ard hair mah..anyway u are suppose to spread ur wax ard ur hair then style..or else u would be like some idiots leaving white spots on ur hair..

how much wax is use very difficult to tell u lei..asking ur hair dresser would be the better ideal?

according to my hairdresser, you put a little bit of whatever you are using in your palm and spread it around both palms. then you run it through your hair so its even and after that just use your fingers to style. how you style and spike depends on you and your hair le.
i hope some hairstyling pro puts a guide here of something LOL. -

different length got different method of styling. -
aiya, shouldnt be afraid. just use alot. dunnid to scare. just tt don't use it frequently lor.

maybe the wax u use and the wax ur hair dresser use are two different brands...
i tried gatsby but i don't really like it.. -
Use Gatsy.. DO not apply it while wet hair...

DON'T use Gatsby. It's bad for your hair. Use Loreal or Shiseido wax. It's much better but of cos it costs more.
