Sore Throat

  salt water only works awhile..
  
  i've finished two boxes of lozenges, starting on third box.. no.. make it finishing the third box..
  
  1 week plus already. still not cured.
  
  help~~
  
  i've also finished one bottle of pi pa go.

  uh.. ok i try the honey and warm water part. tmr i go buy a small bottle of honey try.

  mine starting to affect my work liao.. until evening become very jia let sia. cannot do work, cannot sleep either.

  pls la...........so serious liao..go and see a doctor la.........this kind of methods only last you a while.go get some antibiotics better

  hmm... i see if tmr will get better anot.. if not next day go see doc. sigh.. less money again.
  
  best part is my mom bought me nasi lemak and fried kuey tiao for breakfast, dinner cook chao sang shi. and my students bought me chocolate cookies.

  Yar I can totally understand, coz I had a terrible sore throat just a month ago. Was nightmare.
  
  What I did was to have lots of warm honey water, soothes the throat temporarily. And I took mostly watery foods, such as porridge or soup-based stuff. Pi pa gao didn't work for me, so I took sea coconut (the brand) syrup. And that's after I tried MAC lozenges and Difflam lozenges. Took 1 week plus for the sore throat to go away. Horrible.

  Can you get "betadine gargle" from the chemist? Give it a try.
  
  As for soothing your throat, "lemon and honey" drink is quite good.
  
  Don't overconsume lozenges like strepsil as it tends to make your throat very dry.

  my sore throat cured in a day =\ Just try to talk less, drink more water.
  
  fyi i drank some 24herb chinese cooling tea. Not sure what that is.. but at least it seems effective

  cold coke put 1-2 tbsp of salt..mix well..caution..when add salt..the salt will displace the co2..so alot of gas will come out and the drink will spill if too full..
  
  u can also try eno the 1 glass bottle 1..then add cold water also..or ice water
