death isn't scary for me unless its slow or very painful or its sudden or die without knowing it...

i just hope i can still "think" and "see" some stuff when i;m dead.
I just dun hope i will sleep forever... -
just before you sleep tonight take a lot at your hand under the light. notice how you feel and how your hand moves.
then tell yourself it is only a matter of time before you perish.
why are you a human being? what are you? what is like after death?
very scary isnt it?
i believe it is this that drove people to religion.

That actually sounds very sad. From a thinking living being to a state of non-existence forever... Horrible thought. I do hope that there is an after life. all are idiot huh... such a simple question.......
we think we are alive because our brain is working and we are observing our hands, thoughts and actions.
when we are dead, it means that our brain stops working.... then we will not be even thinking..... if we are not thinking, we cannot be seeing darkness, or feeling afraid......
we simply never will ever think again.... and you will not know if when you are dead..... its not like you can say" oh.. i am dead now?"
therefore you cannot possible feel fear when you are dead.....
but you can surely feel fear now and all the way until time before you die....
if you are fearful thinking abt your own death... then you need to get used to the idea until you dun flinch any eyelid when someone suddenly tell you that you are going to die....
that is what i practise regularly.... its not being paranoid.... there is always a chnace to die every moment..
look at the doctor who dies in sudden sleep...
look at joan cheng who dies from tongue cancer at the time before she was still healthy
look at the 29 yr old woman who was knocked down by car in hougang...
look at the tourists who have died in the tsunami at the moment before the earthquake....
when u look at them before the accidents happen and ask
" what is the chances that they will die today?"
you probably say " of course unlikely lah"
this is the proabality that we will die today " very unlikely"
however , like those dead people case..... its all the same thing
If it happens, it happens........
