Tips on Sales job

Right now the place I'm working is overstaffed, and as the situation looks, it was to my advantage but now suddenly come this JC guy which the silly superviser likes alot
He was sent to the main branch for the big sale which obviously shows how much the superviser likes him.
That aside, I'm not vying for glory or such, There are about 7 part-timers and they are looking to cut that number
I just wanna keep my job and not be told to leave, I prefer sacking the boss
now, I need to out do just 2 of them because the rest are either too high up or too down below
The problem is, The boss say I like nothing to do, How the fark does she know? she's always lurking somewhere slacking or something, And I'm the sad bloke who is climbing up and down in the store taking the shoes and also serving the customers
While the others very smart, take goods need to take lift somemore is wait like 3 mins while escalator only 20 seconds
Then end up sales very bad and boss think I slack thats why no sales.. then when im not doing store, customer come in they will always go snatch the customers when the boss is looking, when the boss is not, they hide at the back of the shop
I tried to snatch the customer back, but they always go back to them... don't know why

To be good in sales, you have to bring down even your pride for that little bit more. -
not true lor.. sales job is not like that lor.. in order to be good in sales you dun have to lower down your pride, all those customers are always right kinda talk are BS, in actual fact what you need to know is, your products knowledge, your professional point of view without bias, your way in answering and listening to their quires, your knowledge of picking out protential and non protential clients and your willingness to be humble when you are advising them..etc.. and remember... Dun ever lowered your pride regardless of how big the deal is.. being a Top Salesperson its not how sia jian you are but how professional you are!!!Originally posted by ditzy:Then obviously you're not doing enough.
