  From my observations so far, the happy people I meet normally don't ask this question. Asking this question will only add more burden to yourself. Perhaps its best to live and let die.
  
  Nonetheless, I had asked myself the same question and somehow the answer "Do good" seems to fit me quite well. The gratitude and appreciation I get in return for "doing good" seems very rewarding to me. I feel justified.
