Any suggestions on where to go

  during the long weekends (hari raya haji / new year's day) period.
  
  Have to do some planning now. Got some few choices
  
  1) Kota Tinggi
  2) Tanjong Pinang
  3) Bintan
  
  Want to have a budget short getaway. Any other recommendations? (well besides surfing sgforums of course)

  Go to the jusco at malaysia, a veri big shopping mall one hr drive from woodlands checkpoint.

  thanks for the suggestion, but i prefer places where I can relax and not stress about where to park esp worry about car crashing lol singapore has too much of that kind of stuff

  i suggest you reconsider your choices.. cos if you go to places where lots of ppl cerebrate Hari Raya then very likely alot of stores, shopping mall, eatery will be closed hence you might just not be able to enjoy yourself as much as if you're in a place thats not cerebrating..
