Its human nature that people will stick with others who had similar status and idealogy.
However as we look at the marco enviroment, after these special/express stream graduated from poly and enters society still holding on to such sentiments in ther heads thinking that are the "Elites" of the Republic, our national will be in trouble. In Singapore we can begining to feel the class struggle between all social class.
You must ask yourself, who had allow this type of stituation to happen. Is it the students themselves or is it the policy maker's fault? Has the government implemended affirmative action on racial, ethnic, gender, or other diversity failed?
I would like to quote the late US President John Kennedy, "United there is little we cannot do ; divided there is nothing we can do". We must never allow such class division to happen.
Just my 2 cents worth of views.
