When i was in poly,i think most of my classmates are fine regardless of which stream,but we tend to like to group with those older guys and gals grad from ITE,especially those guys grad from ITE being much more mature and serious in their work while the group of us from express tend to fool around last time which i regretted now

poly all cham tgoether one la. is see u more comfortable with who rather then ur academic stream. but my class all express.

To me some express/special stream students are ok wif those normal student while some express/special stream student who has quite a high expectation on their studies will of coz prefer to work wif itd own calibre. It depend on each individual characteristic.

However as we look at the marco enviroment, after these special/express stream graduated from poly and enters society still holding on to such sentiments in ther heads thinking that are the "Elites" of the Republic, our national will be in trouble. In Singapore we can begining to feel the class struggle between all social class.
You must ask yourself, who had allow this type of stituation to happen. Is it the students themselves or is it the policy maker's fault? Has the government implemended affirmative action on racial, ethnic, gender, or other diversity failed?
I would like to quote the late US President John Kennedy, "United there is little we cannot do ; divided there is nothing we can do". We must never allow such class division to happen.
Just my 2 cents worth of views. -
in poly, we don't care about sec sch stream anymore le. All are considered equal when you're in the same course. After all, you're in the same lvl of getting a freaking diploma.
I have some friends who came from ite and normal acad. Believe it or not, they can score better in projects than the express stream ppl. -
as long as we're on the same boat in the same poly in the same class

i dun know abt other pple but from my 3yrs in engine course there is no such ting loh. everyone just work with those they wan to work with.
personally i will work with someone that i am comfortable with and preferably is smart. then i just tag along for the ride

U think people from normal stream so easy get into poly meh. also must have a certain standard then can get in ma.

dont look down on them leh.. my class half of them from NA and most of them pwn us in results and trust me, they are good mates to work with compared to express ppl.
