  3 different languages... Japan, English and Malay... from 3 different parts of the world...

  English - Name
  Malay - Nama

  dunno, maybe becuz they are all created by referring to english or maybe english refer to another language.

  some are borrowed words from other languages
  
  u see chinese characters in jipoonese
  
  some are translated as it sounded in another language,
  like taxi - de shi, restaurant - restoran

  cos when japense invaded malaysia and singapore, they foud out by changing their pronoucation of name in jap to namae, is easier for them

  Namae is borrowed from english one. Malay i not sure, but seems like it.
  
  Alot of english words also not original one, they borrow from other languages oso.
  
  Language this thing hor.. its alive one, it evolves and changes every day. like singlish lor, mix here, mix there, come out rojak flavour.
