Birthday Treats for your colleagues, friends, etc..?

  This thing happened to my friend
  
  His birthday is today and he treat his close colleagues during lunch hours but some of the "not so close" colleagues follow him to lunch. He had to treat all of them...however all his colleagues ordered delicious crab meal costing over $20++ which amount to $100++
  
  So in this situation how do you advise your colleagues not to order so expensive dishes and at the same time, don't treat those colleagues who are not supposed to come at all?

  but be wiser, dun treat ple go restaurant, buy cake or watever better, cheaper.

  alamak so easy..say go dutch mah...then ur fren can personally return the money to those whom he wanted to treat...

  i treated my ex from shanghai to watch a movie 2 days ago, in return she treated me a dinner worth $90++ per person.
  
  tis is something i dun think i can afford it bringing myself to spend over 190 dollars for dinner.
