I just bought a DVD. I need help. URGENT!

  okay see the DVD's regional code is code 1 but my DVD player is code 3.
  I don't get it.
  they didn't use to have this code thing in the past or am I just too outdated?
  okay my question is, if I bought my DVD player a few years ago maybe even before the code thing got implemented, can I play the code 1 DVD?

  use my iBook can play.
  but I had to change the code from 3 to 1.
  3's for our region.
  they also said that I'm only allowed to change it two more times.
  which sucks man.

  Where you buy the DVD? Don't blame others if you did not check the goods properly.

  ic.. den find a software to change it lor. dun use the default software to change.

  pc can play one. You take out your monitor and plug your cpu to your LCD TV.
