I suppose this issue have been brought up before when they just change over to EZ-Link card. However, this problem haven't been entirely solved yet.
I decide to check out the SBS Transit website for the bus fares of services when i realise that quite often the bus fare for the same trip from the same starting point to the same destination during the same time frame differs.
I realised that the fare is calcuated in terms of stages of the journey. Therefore i think the bus captain forgets or did not change the stage through the console at his driver compartment. Yes, some may say that the difference is just a mere 20+ cents but if you add up over time, the amount can be quite substantial.
More importantly, why must the commuters be charged more than what they are required to? If this is in the context of buying a product from a shop, it will be a natural reaction for one to question why he is paying more than what is printed on the price tag.
I may bring this up to CASE or SBS Transit for the benefit of all bus users. But i wish to hear comments and recommendations from you people out there. This is because maybe i have miss out or misunderstood on something. Thanks
