Reason 1 - They can go into the changing room together.
Reason 2 - A butch can't get a girl pregnant.
Reason 3 - It's easier to tell your mother you're bringing a friend home for studies/work/etc/etc....
Reason 4 - You get instant recognition for your beauty when standing besides a butch (for most cases).
Reason 5 - There are more females than males in this world.
Reason 6 - No need to worry about your partner going into National Service... females do not need to serve! -

It's quite common nowadays.. Coz I got quite some such friends...
In general, I find that "butches" are more stylish than a normal sg guy... They are clean.. they smell gd... They dun needa shave... A normal guy in sg is too sloppish in dressing to me...
Butches can oso give the girl lots of attention... I mean really LOTs of attention... This is wat guys normally lack of after they've gotten what they want...
