  1. Power up.
  2. Ensure paper is loaded.
  3. Put item to be copied on the glass.
  4. Cover if necessary.
  5. Choose number of copies.
  6. Press COPY.
  7. Collect your copy.

  my library in Oz tells ppl to keep the erm what you call that... cover? down when not in use.... i can't remember why liao...... but it is supposed to make the machine (or toner??) last longer and thus save us students money indirectly.......

  It'll save ink. Nowadays, photocopiers use refillable toners. Mine does, have a huge bottle of black ink right beside it.

  Dont leave the last piece of orinigal copy in the machine. Many ppl tend to forget to take back the last piece.
