Hey..Need some help from all of u..Emm..I am planning to make a trip down to Palau Ubin for a cycling trip..Wondering where can i get the map of pulau ubin or is there anything tt i might need to really take note of.. Coz my last visit is like almost 5-6 yrs ago le..

there are signboards of maps, i go there everyyear cos my grandma used to stay there, and she was buried there....the house she lived in is still there, the old land rover my grandad drove were still there...
ask FI, she is veri familiar wid pulau ubin, she said she lived there -
How about a change for Pulan Nobin?

I think there is a vague map of ubin at the ferry terminal but if you want a detailed map, try asking from friends from scouts or something.

Actually after some research, i also saw ppl intro tt shop leh..wat's so special abt the shop?? It's kinda of they use the spray can to spray the words right?? Wat are they selling inside??besides coconut drink..Anymore Special drinks to intro?? Or jus bcoz the shop name is special?? Pls enlighten..Thx..

Yup it does exist!
Last time during OBS and Annual Camp, always go past that shop. Didn't know the sign still there till today! Must make a trip down one day man! -
cos the shop's toilet is veri clean got auto flush, inside is clean, although is old kampong design, u feel that u went back in time. the drinks is normal stuff...maybe u can visit the place where they have prawn and fish. cycling there must careful, the drivers there will do cornering sometimes wid their old toyota crown....also careful about tombstones by roadside, come back before it is too dark, if u overshot the time, never fear cos i expirence paranormality wid my cousins....Originally posted by Normal^Guy:Actually after some research, i also saw ppl intro tt shop leh..wat's so special abt the shop?? not sure when the chek jawa boardwalk will be finish...but i think it make ubin more develop...not good man...nvm...the house no.1 there also renovating....the new jetty is almost complete..overall pulau ubin is still a nice place..

i am going cycling at pulau ubin on 24/12.
u can get maps from the bicycle rental shops or the visitor booth located near the jetty.
u need to be brave, rugged and have the stamina to cover all parts of the island in a day.
that's why my group of friends didnt invite those who are unfit. -
rent a single seater bike.. never rent a double seater 1.. its a nightmare..

y nightmare leh?? Coz the one behide didn't paddle right?? Jus sit there relax relax..let the person infront cycle, ten when the front person ask "Oie! did u paddle or not~", ten the behide person will jus paddle two times ten relax again right??hahahaha..

Pulau Ubin no need map, very small.
Before u even know it, u have cycled one round on the island le. Just dont wander into the foresty area. lol, might bump into graveyards.
