Anyone studying.....

  out of curiousity, is anyone here studying english/english literature at ntu or who hv friends studying these subjects there?
  
  is it difficult (esp for eng lit)? cos frm wat i heard, they say dat the texts are really hardt to comprehend and not easy to catch the underlining/hidden/double meanings. same goes for metaphors etc..
  
  am considering taking eng lit...cos i hv an interest in literature..liked it in sec sch but din take it in jc cos was in science stream. but im afraid it will be too difficult..
  
  any comments?

  i have a good friend taking eng lit in NTU. yes she said its tough and there's alot of readings to do.. read all the poems and all that.. (i think its gonna be different from sec sch lit).. bt i guess its all the same for arts n social sci ba.. be it in any university here.. u must be prepared to do alot of readings and write well
