a few days ago my mom showed me a newspaper article
i cant remember the exact words....but it was about kids writing letters to santa.
a nine year old wrote
"dear santa. i am 9 this year and i live with my mom and (i think two younger siblings). my dad is somewhere far away. he is in heaven and as been there since march last year. i take care of my mom and have been a good boy.
i have left some cookies for you and some (some kinda vege) for your reindeers.
i have left a gift for my dad at the doorstep. can you please help me bring it to him? its ok if you cant. i understand. thank you"
ok...its not the exact words cos my memory sucks...but thats exactly what the letter is about...
another boy just wanted his family to be together again and to live in a house.
(house as in, to have a roof over his head)
i dont see them asking for $5 million so that they can buy a brand new huge ass house or whatever.
true some of them wont ever get what they ask for...
but compare what people here are asking for and what these kids want...
did the 9 year old ever ask for anything?? all he wants is to pass something to his dad...
oh yah...im pretty sure that this 8 year old boy i know in singapore would ask for a list as long as zoe's in baby blues...
and plenty of other kids in other parts of the world would as for as much as that 8 year old boy i know too
and dammit..dont ask me to summarize it
