You turn off the lights and it's easier for people to climb into the private estate in the dark -

But why switch off? It is not all the lamp posts lei, only certain. If what u say is to be believed, why not all of lamp posts in the area have this? No it still doesn't make sense because if it goes off and the guy climbs in, it will turn back on again, instead of walking away. when the whole area is lit, one will definitely notice if a certain spot suddenly gets dark, right ? ...
