And talking about Jungle area, my present poly was build on a plot of jungle too...We moved there recently (think you all noe wat poly liao - up in the north)...Then ALOT of stories going around...
One of them said that there used to be some altar worshipping a Hindu god in the middle of that plot of land, deep in the jungles...The thing is, if u have been to that area, the other plots of land have been long developed with HDBs, shopping malls and commerical buildings, except for where my school sits, till recently...
So the story goes, the god was said to be very powerful and very popular even among non-Hindus...And when the contractor started clearing the land, it incurred the wreath of the god and the worshippers prayed that there will be no peace to whatever that would use the land..
During construction period, the worker's quaters were burnt for no appearant reason...And I heard that the construction completion date was kept delaying due to "unforeseen circumstances"...
Another story that went around was that jungles are very dirty places and everything, literallly EVERYTHING lives there...so, the area isn't very clean to begin with...Cleaners in the school have to come clean the classrooms after everyone leaves and that's between 5:30 till very late as there are many blocks...A cleaner had an incident where she was cleaning but when she turned around again, everything was in a mess just like previously...She also heard ghostly sounds when she was alone...Another cleaner claimed to see toyols in the toilets...
Brrr....think already also scared...luckily going to grad liao...

My aunty once told me that in dunno which area of Singapore (too young to remember), it was once a temple, taoist I think...The government wanted to tear the temple down to make place for a public swimming pool...But recieved strong objections from workshippers...But of course la, being government, who can stop them..
There was this old tree there and whenever they tried to bring it down, something would happen...It ranges from small things like the bulldozer breaking down suddenly or something bad happens to the bulldozer driver...So they were unsuccessful in bringing it down..I think in the end they left the tree alone..
However, the swimming pool was built but on the day of the opening, some people drowned...A few lor, cannot be so coincidence or what rite..sure something not right one....
Ya, anyway, Singapore land so small, thing kind of things also dunno how to avoid... -

The last time when we first moved over which was like over 7 yrs ago during the 7th month it's damn creepy
Lots of stray dogs around then and they were all quiet but they howled alot late at night during the 7th month.

There is this block of flats that was left vacant for the past 3-4 years, don't know why like this, initially very crowded, even have a cdc at its void deck, after that, total empty, even cdc also moved out.....
where? very obvious one, its along the MRT track, its the only vacant block in the entire neighbourhood (across the lane from a Church).

The story that I'm going to relate here was experienced by 2 person at the same timing.
My bf was doing his national service over at the SCDF BRTC. After he enlisted on a tuesday, the first book out date falls on friday in the same week. During the stay in period, his room was left empty and everything was left intact.
On the very first book out day (friday) I went down to BRTC to fetch him and proceed to his house where I stayed over for the weekends. When it was time to turn in for the night, we chit chatted away on the bed before falling asleep near midnight. I was sleeping on the left side of the bed and him on the right.
After a very short interval, a presence suddenly wakes me up from my sleepy mode. I could make out exactly where that presence is, it stood over at the left side of the bed where my leg lies. It remains at the position for a few seconds before shifting away. This encounter of feeling a sudden presence totally freaks me out because never in my 20 years that I felt such a thing.
I thought the presence went away as fast as it came but what happened during the next few seconds, really startled me. My bf suddenly jerked from his sleep. The feeling is like u are being thrown off a building in a sub-consciousness state and upon reaching the ground, u wake up. He refused to tell me what had happened although he was sweating profusely from the encounter and told me to get back to sleep.
When the next morning came, I relate to him that I felt a presense in his room the night before. The following answer which came out from him was "at the left side of the bed right ?" It turned out that he felt the presence at the same time that I did and afterwards something hold on to him. He wasn't able to move an inch, the whole of his body was paralyzed and at that same instance,
he heard noises very closely to his ears. It sound as if there were a few people talking at the same time in lightning speed. It disappeared very quickly, it was only after that he managed to break free from the body paralysis and that was the time when he jerked. -
The thing is that he suspected "someone else" stayed over in his room while he was away in BRTC. For the fact that nothing like this ever happened before and it so coincidentally happen on the first week he booked out ?

I believe in the yin and yang thing...If the house is very dark, the yin will be very strong...my bf is actually quite weak and falls sicks more easily than me..My house on the contary, is very bright and my family is very healthy...Anyone knows about these?

It sounds logical that those kinda things are attracted to the dark. His was only a three months stayed in for the basic training course. From the period of tuesday to friday which is his first week in BRTC, I believe that the door to his room was closed. Apparently only when his grandma or aunt wants to put his folded clothes in his room, then they will open and close back after leaving the room. -

Initially my bf's bed was placed right in the middle of the room facing the opposite side of the wall. On the wall itself hanged a framed jiasaw puzzle and the pc is on the left side of the puzzle beside his window. With the door, closet on the right and tv set, window on the left.
With this fengshui, theres a high possibility that he encounter sleep paralysis which people term it as "bei gui ya". When we moved the bed to one corner of the room just beside the wall, which is more comfy for us while watching dvds late into the night ... nothing like this ever happen again.

If not mistaken, it could be the small taoist temple under a big old tree located in Toa Payoh Central which is still present today. It is located around the row of shop houses blk 177 & 178. I am not sure & cannot remember much about this story. I think the big old tree is suppose to make way for the shop houses. More ever it's location is in the central area, which make one wonders why it was the only tree not cut down during the development.

Oh, I heard one from my friend before but I dunno which part of Changi is it at but I think it's near the beach. Long time since I heard the story.
Anyway, my friend and his brother were their with their cousins and apparently they wanted to cross this road to get to the other side. So my friend and his cousin crossed the road.
When they got to the other side and looked back, he saw his twin rooted there looking stunned and pale. They called to him and he started shouting at them to cross the road and leave the place.
Of course, they pestered him for the reason after the left the place.
Well, his brother (I know him to be not the type to make up stories) said that he saw behind them, Japanese soldiers marching blindfolded chinese prisoners towards the beach At first he thought they filming some WW2 documentary but he couldn't see any filming crew around and also it was apparent to him that they couldn't see anything. -
ya lor...very dry leh...ok la, share my experience...I went Bangkok abt 2 yrs back for Poly activity and we stayed at a 3* hotel in the midst of the busy city...
And the story goes...
I wasn't feeling well from my flight there for some reasons or so and that night my friends (room mate too) decided to sneak out of the hotel for some fun as we lived in the city area..Being a travel freak, I couldn't resist the tempations to joint them but I was reli feeling unwell...So i stayed back alone in the room, waiting for my bf to msg me...Then u noe la, one girl alone in the room sure scared de ma...So i on the TV to a fashion show channel where keep on got fashion show, turned on all the lights and all that...Anyway, the fashion show was playing some fashion show music la...
Then past midnight, about 1+ am, my friends returned, by suddenly bursting through the door..By then I had already fallen asleep...
They had this curious look on their face and the sleepy me asked what happened...They say they heard old chinese music coming out of my room...Those super old ones..Then i say no, the fashion channel was on all the while...And I am super light sleeper type, slightest things can wake me up, I slept through leh...
Anyway, we just brushed it off lor...
The next night, the organizer allowed us to go out to shop nearby..I went separate ways with my friend and went to explore other parts of BK with another guy friend...
I came back earlier and was alone in my room AGAIN....Then i heard my friends came back...I went open door for them but they all looked very pale...They say they heard the same old chinese music coming from my room again...(I still on the fashion show ch everynite there) This time, they heard a female voice calling their names coming out of my room..I have known my room mate since primary school and she definately can recognise my voice de...They all confirm not my voice...
I nearly freaked out...Cuz i reli the only one in the room....
Luckily, nothing happened to me, did not hear (choy!) or see (choy!) anything....

I think that their luck is low and your's very 'wang' that is why nothing happened to you and it couldn't disturb you
Oh oh talking about hotels I have one!!!!
I used to work as a part time cashier when I was 16 for this hotel in the cafe and also deal with room service.
Once when business was slow,we were gossiping about funny guests we have seen before etc and then this waiter told us this ghost story
Apparently there is this room in the hotel which they will never allow guests to stay because it is haunted.
However, once during peak season when the hotel was fully booked they received a room service call from this particular room.
Initially they didn't think anything about it. A lady placed an order late at night for supper and they arranged everything and delivered. So he delivered it up to the room and knocked on the door. The door opened and the lady signed the receipt and told him it's ok, she will take the tray in herself. At that time, he noticed the room was really dark and as she was standing in the shadows, he couldn't see her face.
He didn't think anything about it till much later to collect the tray. The tray was left outside the room. He was like did they let out the haunted room to a guest
Being curious, he checked with Room Reservations and to his horror, the room was still vacant!
So who did he serve the night before -
now thats not the important part..who Ate the food and Whos gonna pay for the food is more important..
