I SERIOUSLY DON'T BELIEVE that the reason for you being fired is that you are sick for a day... You are not telling the whole story and it's so damn bloody obvious... Please dont come here and twist the story hoping that other people will pity you... You just bloody deserve it....

that's the harsh reality in singapore
depending on cirumstances and luck lah, if your sickness and absence causes the company to incur a high loss or misses clinching an important contract, then god bless you
it's very harsh these days, in strict companies, even if genuinely sick/mc/absence from work will blemish your performance
it's not surprising to hear people being laid off or condemned for taking too many MCs or poor health conditions, heard abt expecting mums being laid off?
some companies got such policy: u as an employee, are responsible for maintaining your fitness and health so that u can be in tip-top conditions to perform your duties, even if genuinely sick, they condemn u for not being fit enough
so working professionals, no more late nights/chionging on weekends haha, better rest more at home to charge yourself up for the hectic routines
want to work? love your body and watch your meals -
