  I rem it's quite cheap when I bought in Taipei
  
  One weird phenomenon is, in USA the same brand pack of cigarettes cost more than the similar in Taiwan. I remember it was 'imported from USA'. So basically, they all came from USA.
  
  Same brand, made in USA pack:
  ~3.90 USD in USA
  ~1.90 USD in Taiwan (based on 60 taiwan dollars)
  ~7.20 USD in S'pore (based on 11 singapore dollars)

  Seriously, I do not think that Singapore still remains a pleasure place to stay when you have our PM increase GST to 7% to help the poor. Wtf! I will eventually migrate cos in the end, I will not want to let my hard-earned money enter the pockets of these politicians.

  I may or may not stay in Singapore myself. But you leaving Singapore will always be a good thing. I'd feel sorry for Taiwan though. At least I know I won't be migrating there.
