  No its not. Between Taka+Paragon, you find all the luxury brands there. You can find Cartier, Mont Blanc, Jimmy Choo, Bottega Veneta, Prada, Loius Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Gucci, Dunhill, Tiffany, Tods, Bruno Magli, No where else in SG you can find all these minutes from each other.
  
  In that sense, it is happening. Not for you perhaps, but for the throngs of increasingly well-to-do Singaporeans, yes.
  
  I perhaps go down once a month to see anything fanciful that catches my eye. Or else, I typically am at Parkway Parade every week. I usually go out for food, not shopping, these days.

  It's overrated probably because everyone in sg must die-die go there and see what's happening. And when foreigners come in sg, all they mention in the 1st place is usually Orchard Rd.
