In French the 'r' is supposed to be pronounced as a sort of hard 'h', but in my opinion even the French themselves have many different ways of pronunciation, based on their native provinces. This is based on my experience touring in France, where the the ticket seller, the station announcer and the train driver all pronounced the city name "Reims" in different ways!

Anyway, I suppose if you want to sound like a high-class cosmopolitan you can pronounce it in the "French" way, i.e. ca-fu. But if you like to appear as heartlandish as possible just feel free to mangle the word however you want.
