For me i paid $329+ for upgrading the crap lappy to a modest Core 2 Duo and 521Mb Ram,which will at least qualify for Vista Ready.Pity its using Intel GMA
For the PC,i would recommend taking the $299 upgrade for 160GB HDD and a dedicated graphics card,though using the aging Pentium D.

Pcs and notebook anot nice. if got LCD Tv better. but i am a hubber so singtel is out lor. -
i will just take the laptop and sell it away to those taking in these stuff. dun need a new laptop, or should i say a new lousy laptop... but i think i can get a few hundred dollars from it.

I'll only be recontracting after I move to my new premises. Downside is have to sign 2 years on hp contract, but get outright 15% and 10% discounts on monthly mol and cable tv bills. Promotion is an lcd tv and dvd recorder. Didn't want their crap pc or laptop, took another offer with HP that trades in for $600 for your old pc.
