One of the most popular bands to emerge in last 5 years! It would be easy to recap the career of Hoobastank: a couple of guys meet in a Battle of the Bands in Agoura Hills, California, in 1994. They grab a bassist and a drummer, damn themselves with a weird band name, build up a local following, get signed, put out two records that earn accolades like "post-grunge ear candy," release a monster ballad ("The Reason"), get nominated for three Grammys ... well, we can go on.

Yeah agree with you all mainstream poppy bands come over here. Seriously less main stream bands should come to Singapore. I think they would worry if anyone would see them, if they are less mainstream.

Yeah... It's like chinese pop concerts dominate over here, while we do have some rock concert here but it's all mainstream acts, bands that almost everyone knows with those poppy sound. While bands that is often percieved as noise by almost all people around me, won't come to Singapore. haha no la, most likely its because you are listening to their old songs, but hell no, they are quite new!! And their guitarist Hermanl Li is like the new age Malmsteen (IMO).

Metal- Depending on the band, Misunderstood.
