  i live on the last storey and there are sounds of ppl dragging chairs from on top...

  best way to solve all the noises generated by your neighbors : throw a dry ice bomb inside their house.

  alright this marble incident shouldn't be of any shocking news since its like experienced by almost all the people living in HDB. you don't experience all these stuffs in the office or hotels why? because its not HDB. the problem should lie with the HDB building itself IMO.
  
  and for those who say that they haven't heard of it before, perhaps they are too engrossed in something else or they simply weren't at home when the sound came.

  yup yup same here i also heard furnitures moving sometimes, i can also feel the vibrations of the ceilings.

  To the best of my memory, the result of HDB's investigation is that the noise of 'marbles' is actually produced by the cables of lifts going up and down which has undergone much distortion.

  yeah i think most of u guys also experience hearing furniture dragging late in the middle of the night right. damn scary.. imagine u using com or watching tv alone in the hall and suddenly u hear the noise.. u look at ur own furniture u will also abit freak out

  my neighbour started knocking already.
  
  knn, dont understand what she is doing all the time at the sink.
  
  only she and her husband, both in their 60s.
  
  so many dishes to wash?
