singlish means to speak in a mixture of el, chinese,hokkien, and add exclamation like lah, lor, lea, hor, and knn is oso exclamation. walao is also a way of starting a sentence, like:
Eg1. wa lao eh, my son hor, sibei jialat, cannot even do pri4 maths, knn, throw my face away, my maths knn veri good one okay!.
Eg2. eh, uncle ar, ni zhe ge vcd keyi watch one ma? last time wa lao, cannot watch u noe!

But , wat if Singaporeans can have the ability to wield both Proper English and Singlish? That will make Singlish a form of Identity. Speaking Proper English when needed in formal or appropriate occasions and Singlish when casual.

aiya..even if it is not counted as an ascent..i am sure ppl here(in Singapore) has already live with that kind of language for so long le..you think can be easily changed mehz? ascent or not..doesn't matter la..but its just quite "malu" when you speak singlish with ang mohs...so pai seh..like a chicken and a turkey talking like that..both speaking the same language, but total different expression,meaning..bla bla bla..

Singlish is easily understood actually.
Those interjections are just words to make conversations more lively.
Foreigners should be able to understand by looking at us overall, from our body language, tone, and through eye contact. -

agreed. i think singlish is uniquely Singapore. which other nation can speak chinese, english, malay, tamil, hokkien, cantonese? and the lah, lor, leh, they're slangs. Singlish is a slang just like liverpudian and yorkshire english ( even the english from other regions can't understand them) .
