  high energy bulbs are around 60watts and they're cheaper
  
  my house uses max 15watt bulbs.. but they're really bright because it's not the old type.. most are the "energy saver" bulbs...

  i use a reading light sometimes in my room.. it lights up the room well enough for a cozy warm glow as it's not white...
  
  the lamp is from Ikea and the bulb from the DIY Shop.. the bulb looks like this:
  
  
  
  i like these bulbs because for the same light, there is less heat.. the old type of bulbs produce a lot of heat and that's where the electricity goes to... these are more like florescent lights...

  colour.. affects moods..
  
  white light is very clinical, sterile..
  
  i like orangy light for the night.. puts one in a more relaxed mood

  but i'm not sure if they are energy saving or not
  
  if the light isn't white, will using the lamp for reading be bad for our eyes? cos it's like, not very bright...

  no.. fluorescent lamps take up less energy as the light is from.. uhh.. it's actually quantum physics
  
  the other type, the normal bulb is incandescent.. from heating up the tungsten filament inside which glows red hot giving off a lot of heat and light...
  
  maybe other things.. like the fridge.. eats up a lot of energy if the seals are not tight... and water heater.. turn it on only if you need it..

  people can't use the wireless unless they know the magic word
