Hmm, i saw the episode on the Three Gorges Dam, and technically, it looked alot like propaganda, they boasted about the dam, and downplayed the enviromental effects of building the dam ...
I also caught bits n pieces of the MeiLu Villa episode ... and it gave me the feeling of propaganda again ... -
sry i hate it. its a waste of time. i wan entertaining shows not learn some crap history.

the dam itself is a screw up with all the corruptions and lost of history artifacts.
the chinese government didn't evalutate properly the artifacts and history behind the river and in the end build a dam that will floods the precious artifacts that cannot be saved due to limited time.
and due to the heavy corruptions in the chinese government cheap materials were being used and now they got some small cracks in the dam

last nite epi was bout the hongchun village, some ancient village, very informative.
