Can PS2 be used to watch DVD? If yes, is it good to be used to watch DVD? Cause I'm planning to invest in a PS2 for gaming as well as a DVD player.

i tink the problem with it is that pirated cannot be played, and i dunno whether is it multi code, meaning can play a viriety of encoded DVDs.....better ask someone who is using it

Nowadays hard to get modded PS2, Without modded you can't engage in any piracy with your PS2

Why PS2 now? You should consider a PS3 or xbox360 or Wii. Wait for a year or two for it's price to drop. -
