  I got but mine is stuck at 1.5. I can't play new games like Metal Gear portable ops unless i update. Should I update or not?? *sigh*

  If you do, the market value of your psp will go down from $350 to $180 in one update. But then at least you can play the latest games, which is what you want right?

  Depends on what you want mah. I was willing to give up homebrew to play the latest games, hence. Wait for the hacks to come in lor.

  but I have recently tried to "flash" my psp on my own...took a big risk..
  and now my firmware reads 3.02.....
  
  and the best thing is, can surf web, and can also play "homebrews"
  
  those of you interested, can see this website. Follow the instructions, that's what I did.....but please hor, read carefully, don't end up bricking your psp...don't come and find me...

  Hmm... some how i am not appealed by the games of PSP.... but some of them are undeniably good... like valkryie Profile....
  
  I prefer DS games... like Ultimate Jump... etc etc....
  
  somemore FF12 coming out on DS
