What happened to Halabja on the Bloody Friday?
The brutal massacre of the oppressed and innocent people of Halabja began before the sunrise of Friday, 18th of
March 1988. The Iraqi regime committed its most tragic and horrible crime from the beginning of the imposed war until now against the civilian people on Friday, 18th of March. On that day, Halabja was bombarded more than twenty times by Iraqi regime's warplanes with chemical and cluster bombs. That Friday afternoon, the magnitude of Iraqi crimes became evident. In the streets and alleys of Halabja, corpses piled up over one another. Tens of children, while playing in front of the their houses in the morning, were martyred instantly by cyanide gases. The innocent children did not even have time to run back home. Some children fell down at the threshold of the door of their houses and never rose again. -
Killing a man who killed another man makes you no different from him, however just the reason may be. Everybody will have their own reasons.
He might have his reasons to killing these people, just like our government has reasons to hang drug traffickers. However right the reasons are, who are we to play god and take another person's life. I would rather have him incarcerated for life and let the victim's relatives have interviews with him, let him know what grief he caused.
Death is too good for him. -
I dun believe in the death sentence, to whoever, in whatever way. When Saddam was killed, i felt sorry for him. As a human being, i feel alot for others. I can feel the fear as someone spends his last moment and ends it all in such a brutal way, whether hanged or shot.
Nobody has the right to kill another human. If the person has committed some terrible crime, God will deal with him. -

If he kills my family, i rather he be mentally tortured for life or in other ways. There are many cases where the victims families not only forgives the culprit, but also plead for a lighter sentence for him.

He lived by the sword and hence he died by it... fair and square as much as anyone is concerned. We can feel sorry that things had to come to this, but I think one should not feel sorry in the sense that what he got was something he should not have gotten.
In an ideal world we can deal with our tyrants with peaceful means, but our world is hardly this kind of world. -
