Is this act very childish???

  That time I and my guy friend went to Millenia Walk hobby shop and bought a plastic aeroplane model kit.
  
  Then we went up to the food court to have lunch,I very excited about my new toy so I opened up the box and take out the parts to study.Ya,I laid out the parts on the table and looked at them one by one.
  
  Note it was lunch time on a weekday and a lot of office workers having lunch.One of the OL walked past and she seemed to have this look of disgust when she saw what I was doing...
  
  My friend who is also an office worker said that OLs might find my act very childish...

  My uncle is a senior engineer at ST Aerospace.
  
  And his home is full of all sorts of plastic model aircraft, ships, and even small-scale figures of SOF personnel.

  Well I also have done that before and I just focus on my new toy instead of wasting time and effort to bother about others.

  to us guys who understand what is plane modelling we won't find it childish but some ladies out there maybe don't understand the passion we have that's why misunderstood it as childish

  Many people especially gals may think that our hobby is very "loser" or boring What they DONT KNOW is that our hobby requires A LOT OF DEDICATION AND PATIENCE not to mention frustration when one of the tiny parts go missing or one of the delicate parts break into two.

  it is not childish at all...this an hobby.everyone got hobby,,this is urs.i think people who collect this is cool... before u can form one model figure...is hard..

  oh wait, you mentioned that it was lunch time. was there a shortage of tables (ie people looking around for tables)?
