  I have tried this on ladies in their 20s and they were happy and amused.Of coz they knew I was pulling their legs,but it definitely helps to lighten up the atmosphere.Got 1 lady who is besotted with teddy bears herself actually played along by claiming she can talk to her bears too.
  
  However,dont try this on more "pragmatic" ladies...or the first time you date a gal.
  
  Takeaway:be more open minded and flexible.Don't condemn everything you dont like as "cheesy" or "childish".What might be interpreted as "cheesy" or "childish" might be regarded as humourous as another person.
