Should public transport run late during special occasions?

Like during countdown events where there will be alot of people hanging out til late, Do you think they should extend service for MRT to something like 3am? Then maybe we pay a little extra.
SMRT earn money and they are happy
Singaporeans have a ride home and they are happy
It's killing 2 birds with one stone. -
SMRT wan their niterider to earn$$$

Melbourne has given out free transport through bus, trams and trains from 3 pm New Year's eve to end of New Year day. Not to mention free transport for all 3 on Christmas day as well. Everyone rides FREEEEE

Ask Singapore to do the same
after all , the Ministers can earn 1 million per year so ask them to chien jiu abit lah. -
they will not do something that is not lucrative.

I rather have 24 hrs service. Most bus end around 12am, & like 5-6am they have to start again. If im in charge i will employ more ppl just to work the extra 5 hours. & from the profit they earn, they can do it 1 loh.

Yes, all the dumb taxis were all call at night at around 3am+

Ask you to drive a bus from east to west with a bus full of monkeys for $5 an hour, then drop off the bus in some other location before you go home with no other allowances, you want?

becos...night rider..is really not enough..they are always full after moving out from the starting point..
n taxi is also not enough...just too many peeps

waited for bus till 1:30 then dun have..
zzz... walked 7 bus stops to get hme la..
shld extend the bus hours especially on special occasions lyk countdwn. -
imagine some1 jumping onto the track while u r travelling in a super packed train..
