yeah *utada Hikaru* was actually my 1st idol when her 1st debut album
*FIRST LOVE* came out in 1999. then few yrs later, she was out of the music industry and last year returned back to the spotlight.

Still, im in love with Ayumi Hamasaki.
if you dont know, she went for face surgery back in 2005 if you look at all her new videos compared to last time, so much different, her face totally changed. my japanese girlfriends told me that most japanese dislikes her already after she went for surgery.. but she is stills THE QUEEN OF J-POP. -

oh yes monkeybusiness... Becoz we often hear irrashimase (welcome in) for japanese restaurants. What about yokoso?
I wonder what is the difference & I mean... for example we welcome Tekken to Sgforum, S'pore or welcome a jp frenz to our *home, office, events & so on.
So how we use yokoso or irrashimase correctly, thanks. -

Put your mind and soul together and study hard for japanese, take it a step at each time. read more. practice more. learn more how to write the japanese words. everyday flip through your books. go search through online japanese , go library n everything. always memorise the word. try to find friends to communicate. put in an effort in everything you do. words you dont know the meaning, get a japanese dictionary and flip through read it. buy Asahi Shimpun (japanese newspaper) and try remember what u wrote , memorise the words. look for meanings in the dictionary. by then , you can communicate easily with people. find friends , find someone to talk together abt japanese. you will improve from there.. HAHA.. what im trying to say is that put an effort in anything you do, nothing is impossible. that's why im here, if you need help, let me know. i'll try to help you . including some of my friends online here too. we do what ever we can help each other.. i think im the only 1 here *WORLDWIDE* giving/teaching everyone free japanese lessons. so ya, what are you waiting for.. when each course for JAPANESE cost you tonnes of money.. hehe..

you can just say Kitai ( do you want to come in) more formal.. its not nercessary to say yokoso..
yokoro is when someone your friend/relatives visits you
(e.g) your friend is from osaka and you live in tokyo. when ur friend comes to tokyo, you can say to him/her (Yokoso) = welcome to Tokyo.
Irrashimase is when you enter to a japanese restaurant, the working staff there will greet you irrashimase = ( welcome in ) a warm polite gesture. hope you understand..
