That was a stupid movie with a stupid plot. The scriptwriter messed up Jue2 Dai4 Shuang1 Jiao1 with Xia2 Ke4 Xing2, another novel by a different author.

Strange, I clearly see the drama before I read any novel, but I am (add these too, "was" and "will" able to differentiate the two story apart.

actually he n yao yue should be equally match, yan nantian's skill is attacking mode while yihua gong is defensive type.
but i think Yan Nantian got injured quite easily leh...dunno by who....is it Yao yue? or is it the 12 ominous stars? because when he go to demon island, he's heavily injured leh. if he's that invincible like Liu Xi, he can recover by exerting his internal energy liao.
yao yue maintained to sneak in er ren gu to tell xiao yu er about his real parents n the ones who caused their death.
say, why does Yao yue need to sneak into demon island? with her unrivalled skills, she can go in there openly and out mah, no one can defeat her!

in the novel, when yan nantian invaded er ren gu, he was tricked n poisoned by ha ha er (one of the shi2 da4 er4 ren2). but still he managed to fight five of the shi da, n they running away.
but yan nantian's weakness was he carried wif him a baby (xiao yu er), n two dead pple in coffin. plus he react recklessly w/o hiding. he kena pwnz when Du Jiao Jiao disguise as one of dead pple by shooting dart at his deadly spot, thus lost to them.

I believe unlike yan nantian, yao yue has no problem killing all the er ren since she is cruel n meriless. the reason why yao yue sneak in was becos her evil intention of letting xiao yu er to know his real identity n yi hua gong are the real killers of his parents. her intention was to let the two twin brothers killing each other. -

I think Jiang Yulang would surely gave Xiao Yu'er a lethal dose of any poison so that Jiang can get rid the thorn in his eye, Xiao Yu'er.
If the dosage is lethal, Xiao Yu'er would be sleeping in one of the coffins in the rat's cave, how can he still duel with anyone? Remember that he fell straight on the ground in the duel with Hua Wuque on Mt. Tortoise. How can anyone still pull through that?
I think it's a great novel but this plot just keeps me pondering. -

- ou yang ding dang brothers (one of shi da er ren), renamed themselves as luo san n luo jiu. comic stated luo san is ou yang ding n luo jiu as ou yang dang. novel stated dat it should be the other way (one of the funniest read in the novel as we know 9 is after 3 but 9 in tis case is the elder bro).
- in the novel, jiang bie he n jiang yu lan getting away scot-free after their skill are destroyed by yan nantian. xiao yu er letting them off after he felt they r better off den dead; in the comic, jiang yu lan made a comeback as 'last boss' n this is better ending.
- the 1st shi da er ren, du sa died pretty easy in the novel, comic tried to change the fact dat Du Sa fought bravely n die respectly since he is one of respectable villian in the novel. -

Not that I want anyone of them to die lah, but can have more tragedy mah.
Amongst the Ten Villians, I also respect Du Sa the most. He is no different from any hero lor. He kept his words, protect his fellow "villians", I dare to bet that he dotes about Xiao Yu'er the most amongst the five villians that stayed in the valley. Whatever he did, it's just looks like an act by a hero. But he is also very ruthless and cold-hearted, I think these are the characterisic that made him into a villian.

but i don't understand......they keep saying got Shi2 Da4 Er4 Ren2(Ten Villains), but the show only got 5 leh? even if include the Cranky Physician, only 6??!!1 another 4?
