need help on SCHOOL

i have a very very big de problem...
i now secondary but i still dunno what to do after secondary...
i still have have a ambition or what to study next time...
i dont even know weather to go jc or poly...
budden, i always wanted to become a policeman...
anyone know is there any course for policeman in poly?
what to study next time if i want to become policeman?
btw i this year sec 4... -

if you are really interested in Police, go ahead. You can try Dip in Law and Management from TP but then, you can take other Dip and still become a police officer. Example I got 2 friends, one took IT the other took Law and Management, but they sign on police and both hold the same rank.

work hard enuff and get urself a schlorship issued by the police i guess...they will pay for ur school fees when u get into uni and u come back can become a high rank police some more

I'm also intending to apply for the post of Police Officer once I complete my diploma course in NAFA. I was from Poly but I dropped out due to lack of interest.
U can basically study:
1) Any diploma course in the 5 Polys/LA-SALLE/NAFA
2) A-Levels in JC/MI
If you are intending to apply as a direct-entry Sergeant, u no need to complete NS before applying for PO.
if u are looking towards Senior Officer, u need a recognised degree plus you must have completed 2 yrs of NS if you are male. -

if u wanna go uni, then u go JC. but make sure u must do well in A level.
Poly can also go UNI, but not easY! but the courses might intersted, u have mroe freedom then JC
JC = 2 years, but once u failed in A level, u are basically wasting time.
poly = 3 years, hard to go uni unless u v v hardworking -

btw how much a police can earn?

then i heard my friend say most likely i ns will go the police de... then i also heard a case that a guy from npcc then go ns police de then after ns come out immdiately become cid... issit possible?

2) If you have a dip (any course) you can apply for direct sergeant. So doesn't matter whether you study law related course, pre-requisite requirements still apply. (BTW there's no police courses)
3) If im not wrong, you need to have exp as a police officer before you can try CID. Though this part I'm not that sure

Being a CI does help when you are actually going through the POBC but not during application. As quoted by an FI currently attached to NPCC, regarding the strictness level in CI Course, "If you can go through CI course, POBC really, no kick man." You will already know all the drills beforehand so you can teach your squadmates during POBC.
You can only join CID's investigation team if you have been a regular for minimum 2 years. NSFs can only become staff officers in CID.
U wanna study a police-related course you gotta be in the Police first. There's a course in TP which only allows Police and Security officers with a minimum service period to join. -

haha. In shorter form it means being a Cadet Inspector helps you during the police officer basic course. But when you are applying to be a police, the process and requirements are the same for all. FI = Field Instructor. FIs are instructors who will train you to become Police Officers during POBC. There are FIs who specialise in range, parades and ceremonies, defensive tactics, etc etc. Basically all outfield aspects of police work.
POBC = Police Officer Basic Course
NSF = National Service Fulltime personnel
TP = In this context, Temasek Polytechnic, not Traffic Police. -
