IMF aftermath : cheated students

well i was one of the esplande F&B host.
and since we were handling food we had to go for some injection.
so we went to alexandra hospital to vaccinate ourselves.
bill was $35, supposed to be paid by company.
taxi fare can also be reinbursed.
well
it has been so long and the hospital bill was not paid yet. to the extent that i received a pink letter from the hospital.
and my taxi fare of $50 is lost, because the receipts were lost in transaction and thus i have no way to backup my claim as i dont have a photocopy of them. but well my other friends got theirs, so i guess i am just plain unlucky.
damn just feel so cheated. regret doing this kinda event. -
at least you learn something - hardwork does not necessarily pay.

Tip number 2.
Before you submit receipts, you go photcopy and make them sign the photocopy saying they receive. -
if the IMF rips off countries, why should it do different for induhviduals?

Any and all costs are beared by you and you only. There's always the claim process but it'll probably take a few years, if you are lucky. -
Civil servants take damn long to redeem their claims already. Still want to say you?

first receipt given on the night when i took cab to esplande for a midnight stint.
2nd given on the next day which i had to rush to esplande, totally no time to go zap.
i reached home at 6am, and left at 12noon. where got time go out find photocopy shop to zap.
3rd i snail mail them...that 1 i no zap is my bad... -

If you can remember the taxi company and the date/approx time, then maybe you can write in to them. But IMF happen more than a month ago...heck, no harm trying...ask them to generate a receipt from their records..

This ia abosultely poor organising skill from the mgt.
All they had to do is arrange with the clinic or hospital and register
those that need vaccination and u go for ur injection vaccination without
u paying anything and hence no need to claim. Transportation also can be
arrange. -
Now all company very smart, try to act

That's the way some ppl do business, next time ask the company to pay first. -

Yes... its super hard to claim.
During the event, when they wan things done, they'll say "OK go take taxi to run this errand for me... after that claim from company".
then u happily go take cab, even with the receipt, its very hard to claim. must fill up this and that just for a 8dollar taxi fare.
and usually, the employer is the government.
i kana before. asked me to buy 4 energizer titanium batteries. paid about 10bucks. then when i wan to claim, WAH i regretted. -
Sound like mission impossible to me. Haiz, just forget it. Take it as a lesson learn.

It's not easy to arrange with a particular clinic or hospital to do a vaccination based on the amount of people involved. In any case which you need to claim for certain purchases or transportation, it's always important to make a photocopy of the receipts, plus getting a signature from the processing departments once submitted so that you're being protected against non-payment.
I've been doing purchases on things of few hundreds of dollars for my school without petty cash, just the trust between myself and the school. So far, so good. No incident that there's no payment issued when a receipt is present. -

They get the nurse to the company and finish the job in 2 days.
