NS counted as working experience?

  in the end it's still qualification that counts. many of my friends are full lta with outstanding performance during NS but when they go look for civil jobs without a degree/honours, they are still rejected.
  
  so please don't take 2 years ns experience as an advantage over others, it simply don't help. it only makes a difference if you are a regular high flyers.

  ns is not counted as working experience.
  ask yourself what you had been doing in ns? you think your boss dunno what you had been doing in ns?
  
  and it does not matter if you got a great performance for your service in ns.
  they just dont give a fuck about ns.
  
  yes. ns is a total waste of time. in working society, they dont give a damn shit that you had served 2 yrs of ns.
  they would rather take a girl who had been working in those 2 years than a guy who sweat off 2 years protecting the country.
