Ok, if anyone really bothers about the answer, I can bet you its origin goes back several or even hudnreds of millions of years ago.
Yes, I believe the chicken were once Dinosaurs, who were once just a micro-organism which in turn came from the ocean.
In essence, it was the first living cells that produced the first dinosaur, which evolved and in turn became the current Chicken.

If you believe in science....nature wont go and evolve an egg also
So therefore its chicken 1st..definitely

Universe was created by big bang theory.
God is nth but beliefs ppl came up with.
bye bye sleep tight... to get the correct answer inside dream**Originally posted by Classyfied:chicken came first la...why? cheeken ish evolved from other animals...juz like us...we evolved from monkeys...so the cheeken evolve *100 until one day...the first ceekens lay eggs and the chain cycle continues..ps the egg u see now is not the egg they first laid...i suppose the egg they first laid is suppose to be soft and without a shell one de no protection ...then time pass..slowly turn hard due to nature nid to protect itself ..till until now lor..buai buai..i very sleepy i go sleep..i also dun know wad i saying.s![]()
Evolution is not a proven science.Originally posted by Where Is God:Wow, you sure is outdated.
The official consensus in the scientific community is the egg come first.
Why?
Because animals don't evolve over their life time.
you can't have a dog which turns into the first chicken overnight. No, the dog has to lay an egg which contains the genetics of a chicken for the first chicken to be born.

Evolution is science. Supported by evidence from various fields such as palaeontology, anatomy, zoology, embryology, developmental biology and more recently molecular genetics (which is my department).Originally posted by Arbitrageur:Evolution is not a proven science.
Let us imagine a special typewriter that can type randomly by itself. It has with 50 keys, comprised of 26 capital letters, 10 numbers, one space bar, and 13 symbols for punctuation, etc.How long do you think would it would take to correctly type the sentence “THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION IS BELIEVABLE?”.
To obtain the answer, let us first consider the first word of the sentence, which reads: “THE”.
According to the Multiplication Rule of Probability, the chance of correctly typing the three designated letters “THE” from possibilities is 1 in 50 x 50 x 50, which equals 125,000. At a rate of one strike per second, the average time taken to make 125,000 strikes is 34.72 hours. The chance of randomly typing the ten keys (nine letters and one space) in the right sequence for the two words “THE THEORY” is 1 in 50 x 50 … ten times (50 to the power of 10). This is 1 chance in 9.76563E+16 or more than 9 quadrillion or 9 followed by 16 zeros! There are 31,536,000 seconds in a year, so the average time taken in years to make 9.76563E+16 strikes at the rate of one strike per second would be 3,096,659,373 or 3 trillion years!
The time taken on the average to correctly type the whole of sentence, which contains 40 letters, punctuation, and spaces, would be 50 to the power of 38 divided by 31,536,000 (seconds in a year), which is 1.1536E+57 or more than 1 trillion quadrillion quadrillion quadrillion years!
By comparison, the evolutionistsÂ’ age of the Earth is only 4.6 billion years, and the evolutionistsÂ’ age of the universe is only almost 15 billion years.
Can you still believe in the theory of evolution? I can't!
BTW, dog doesn't lay egg

Ok.Originally posted by Arbitrageur:Those evidences are not conclusive and never will be.
When we ponder where a watch comes from, we think of the watch maker and do not doubt that it is a creation.
If the watch cannot be a product of evolution, what makes you think that a monomer had evolved to apes and then to the human kind?
Why is it so difficult for evolutionist to believe in a creator God?
“For I do not seek to understand so that I may believe; but I believe so that I may understand. For I believe this also, that unless I believe, I shall not understand.”

No need to discuss any more. You win already. I gave you win.Originally posted by davidche:Dude, pls think about your question before you ask it.
God cant be created if he is God right? if he is created then the person that created him must be the real God.
In christians' view, God is the first cause of all things.
In atheists' view, Nature is ever present, thus doesnt need a cause wich also means that it will never change. Indefinite.
But if we study secondlaw of thermodynamics(is this the right word?), and observe the earth, we find that resources are depleting, how then, will it be ever present? we ought to assue that nature will die out.
discussion no such thing as "win or lose" one...Originally posted by Cystaire:No need to discuss any more. You win already. I gave you win.![]()
