  and you take only one elective subj onli, does that make you a more JC orientated student than a Poly student?

  3ple sciences in O level makes you a JC oriented person. But if your passion is inclined toward the more industries oriented like the medical or engineering, I think you should go poly.

  well the reason is that Im interested in a poly course but im not sure if i take this course whether i will regret or not. I noe that if u take JC you are on the safe side and chances into local uni quite high compared to poly. I also scared that going to poly would mean wasting your time there. From what my teachers say, you go poly if u want to slack.

  Just go for what you like lo. But for me, I would recommend you to go JC then to Uni. Because even if you go poly, eventually you won't be happy with just a diploma. So in the end, you still end up going Uni. That's why JC will be a better choice for you imo.

  no. you can't take all three sciences in the JC. you can choose either chem+phy or bio+chem.
  
  JC (science stream) : EL
  1 maths (add or e)
  2 sciences (chem compulsary)
  1 humanities (lit geog hist etc.)
  
  i'm not too sure about the arts stream cos i plan to go into the former.
