How would u feel if you're 29 and earning $1300 a mth?? cuz today i saw a 29yr old coming for interview @ my co then my manager ask him wats his expected pay and he repiled about 1300 bah.. then i was thinkin how would u feel if you're 29 then earning 1300 a mth?? no intention to insult that gettin a 1300 pay is a shame but juz thinkin that is it enuff for a big 29yr old man to feed his family??car loan,housing loan,child's education expenses etc?? how sad that the market rate for employees pay now is so low..

got check his background or not? Maybe his father is a billionaire and the purpose of him working is to gain some practical experience and then go back to join his old man?
Or worse, he is checking out your company, and a few months later, his father's company launched an acquisition...haha.... -

Har? You mean the older one gets the more pay he should ask for? Wah then my daddy is millionaire liaoz. But yeah, 29 and earning 1300 is ermz hard if got wifey, 2 children in two, four ageing parents.

that is what employers wants lah. they claim that they r very kind n understanding, kind n understanding that u need a job and that company will take very good care of u. u stand out from the rest becoz u ask for a low salary and look like the type who is willing to work like a cow.
most will not pity u and say that they will fight for higher wages for u lor.
don't be surprised, some ex regulars from polytechnic last time r drawing that kind of salary, i believe they r around 27-29 also.
